Evening at the castle, acrilyc painting on canvas, 70 x 50cm, 2026
After a long time, I took my painting tools out of the safety of the studio and attended a painting symposium at the Castle in Bělá pod Bezdězem. Facing the challenge of painting a picture in one day and using a rather unusual technique for me, acrylic paints. And acrylics because in the evening were the already dried paintings auctioned off in a benefit auction for the reparations of this beautiful Renaissance castle. There was certainly no lack of inspiration in the arcades of the castle and local Renaissance frescoes, and this painting was created.
